Now in its fifth year, the festival is moving from strength to strength. The mandate of the festival is to always ensure the highest quality performers; some authentic blues from the deep south, as well as up and coming local artists, not to mention the hot talents from around the world. You need only look at the past performers to see what the goal of this festival is. We want to have fun. We want people to experience the true passion of The Blues. And we want to do it in a beautiful place. Mijas was carefully chosen for its laid back atmosphere and its open attitude. The town comes alive during the festival as locals and tourists alike enjoy the four days of fun, sun and exceptional music. With so many festivals on offer throughout Europe, this festival is here to stay, and it will work hard to ensure it remains renowned for acquiring the best talents the world has to offer.
